Tips & Tricks to Eating and Enjoying A Healthy Thanksgiving Meal

Thanksgiving, one of the most cherished holidays, is around the corner. While Thanksgiving is certainly a holiday worth celebrating, we find that it's often a time when individuals consume an uncomfortable amount of food. This time of year is full of parties and celebrations, so we put together a simple guide to hopefully help you not over-do it at the dining room table.

The average Thanksgiving meal adds up to an astonishing 3,000 to 5,000 calories. When we consider that 1 pound is equivalent to 3,500 calories, you may gain 1 to 1.5 pounds in one meal. The good news is that making small adjustments to your holiday meal can mean a big difference.
